Joining The VA Matchmaker team means joining a company with a constant stream of referrals and incoming clients (the best kind of clients too!) but we do have a fairly rigorous intake process for our new virtual assistants. Because we only have the most savvy virtual assistants who are trained on all aspects of providing great virtual assistance, it does mean that we have a few requirements for the people we refer clients to.
The requirements for joining our team are:
You must have gone through one of the group coaching programs at The VA Coach. The VA Coach offers two group coaching programs - one is ‘Build Your Virtual Assistance Business‘ and is eight weeks long. It is perfect for beginners or those who want to gain clarity in their VA business. The second is ‘Skyrocket Your Virtual Assistance Business to Six-Figure Success‘ and this one is six weeks long and will teach you how to turn your business into a six-figure business.
The reason we request this is because these sessions are led by Erin Blaskie which means that she has either six or eight weeks to get to know you, your skills and your business. Also, by participating in these programs led by Erin, you will get to know how she runs her business which means that you can service the clients via VA Matchmaker in the same way.
You need to have a virtual assistance business with a web presence. You can be doing your VA business part-time or full-time but you need to be able to demonstrate who you are and what you are good at on a website. Even though you will be working via The VA Matchmaker, it is important that we are able to explain more fully about who you are to the clients who come through our website.
You must be a team player. The success of VA Matchmaker is partially in the fact that we’ve got an amazing ‘pool’ of talent which means that if you can’t do something, you can ask your fellow colleagues. It is important that we only bring people onto the team who are interested in being part of a growing, successful and super talented team.
